We stayed 4 nights in August with our family. Great location, only 20-25 minutes drive from Banff town, walking distance to many restaurants, friendly staff and the kids loved the pool and waterslide. You can definitely hear the cargo trains behind the hotel. We were in room 357, and unfortunately, the guests in room 355 tried to open the connecting door between our rooms more than once. Overall, a good family stay!

Location, location, location. This is a hotel that would cost about $200 in most places. Because of it's location it ran us a little over $400 per night. It was clean and nice but there were issues that cause me to downgrade from 5 stars. The bathroom has zero outlets, shelves, or other conveniences that make things easier. The shower is a no threshold type and water flows out onto the rest of the bathroom floor readily. Soaked a full bath towel. There's a wall mounted dryer in the room outside the bathroom, but there's no outlet that can be reached by the cord! Nice enough, clean, but issues. However, if you need a room in the area and are looking for a lower priced one, this just might have to do.
